Notes
This is the title given to the cake by the person who shared it in a cookbook. I have a problem choosing which of the cakes that I make would be called my favorite. Serve absolutely plain with no glaze or such that would ruin the wonderful rich, buttery flavor. Garnish with fresh strawberries. I once tried to make this in a square tube pan my mother-in-law had given me. It failed three times with all these expensive ingredients. Back to round and a great cake.
