Ingredients 4 pounds brisket 1/2 c. chili sauce 2 teaspoons Kitchen Bouquet 2 1/2 ounces orange juice Salt and pepper Garlic salt Onion salt
Instructions Season meat with all other ingredients. Seal in double thickness foil. Bake at 325° for 4 hours.

Ask people who make brisket, and each one will tell you that their recipe is the best one, but I tell you that without doubt, hands down, this is the very, very best recipe.
NotesThis smells just so wonderful that it is fun to leave it cooking and come back into the house. Slice it ahead of serving time and put in casserole or baking dish with the sauce to reheat or keep hot. This is probably the recipe that I have shared the most times. We use the slow cooker to reheat this.
I use a brown in bag to cook it rather than the silver foil.
