Ingredients
2 onions, chopped
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
1 celery rib, chopped
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup dry white wine
1 sprig rosemary plus 1 tablespoon chopped
5 fresh sage leaves plus 1 tablespoon mined
1 sprig fresh thyme plus 1 tables minced
Instructions 1. Adjust oven rack to lowest position and preheat oven to 325. 2. Scatter vegetables on bottom of roasting pan. Add broth and wine. 3. Roast turkey as you prefer. 4. Strain vegetables and separate fat. Use liquid for gravy, add water if necessary.
