Ingredients 4 Cups Matzo Farfel 2 1/2 Cups Chcken Broth 1 Large Onion, diced 1/4 Pound Mushrooms 3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil 3 Eggs, well beaten 2 Teaspoona Parsley, chopped 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger 1 Teaspoon Salt 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
Instructions 1. Soak farfel in chicken soup. 2. Saute onion, celery, mushrooms in 1/3 cup oil and mix with farfel. 3. Add balance of oil, eggs and seasonings and mix. 4. Grease a 9x13 pan. 5. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour until crisply. 6. This can be frozen.
Description This is very similar to the stuffing I make but being baked in the kugel pan gives it nice crisp edges.
Notes
True confession. I made this in advance to be frozen until the holiday. I snitched a corner and it took all kinds of will power to put it in the freezer. My son loved that it got crispy around the edges.
