Chicken Livers Chasseur



Ingredients 1 pound chicken livers 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced 1 large onion, sliced 1 teaspoon flour 1 8 oz can tomatoes 1/2 cup white wine 2 teaspoons parsley, chopped 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce


Instructions Melt butter in a large skillet. Saute chicken livers on both sides until brown and remove from skillet. Add mushrooms and onion to skillet and saute until golden. Remove from heat. Stir in flour, tomatoes, wine, parsley, salt and Worcestershire sauce; simmer, stirring frequently, for about 5 Minutes. Add chicken livers and simmer 5 to 10 minutes longer.


Description For chicken liver lovers, this recipe is a must. I like to serve it over pasta.
