Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour, unsifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
12 ounces chocolate chips, semi-sweet
3/4 cup pecans, chopped
3/4 cup caramel, finely chopped
Instructions Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a medium-sized bowl stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer until creamy and lightened in color.
Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, adding the eggs one at a time and mixing between each addition.
Mix on low speed until everything is incorporated.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, blending slowly and being careful not to over-mix.
Fold in the chocolate chips, pecans, and caramel
. Using a tablespoon, drop the batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between the drops of dough so the cookies have room to grow.
Bake until lightly browned, about 9-11 minutes.
Description
With so many good things, how can these not be delicious.
Servings
A lot. I didn't count but I would think there were about 48.

Notes
I prepped all the additions before starting so that the whole process would go smoothly and quickly. It was a challenge to chop the caramels. I tried doing them in one of those small processors, and it wasn't a great choice. I would suggest chopping them with a good sharp knife.
