Ingredients 1/4 Cup Butter 2 1/4 Pounds Red Cabbage, thinly sliced 6 Tablespoons Sugar 2/3 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions 1. Melt butter in large pot over medium heat. Add cabbage and saute until slightly wilted, about 5 minutes. Add sugar; toss to coat evenly. Add vinegar. 2. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until cabbage is tender, stirring often, about 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Description Just a wonderful side dish.
Notes
Cabbage is an oft overlooked as a vegetable by itself. This recipe is proof that we should give it more credit for holding its own.
