Stuffed Mushrooms


Ingredients Medium mushrooms English muffins, torn into pieces Onions, chopped Ketchup





Instructions This is really a "wing it" recipe. Wash the mushrooms, cut ends of stems off and remove and chop stems. Saute onions in butter, add chopped mushrooms and cook. Tear muffins into very small pieces. Add to onion and mushroom mixture. Add enough ketchup to moisten and so that mixture holds together. Warm water can also be added if it seems like too much ketchup. Mound mixture in mushroom caps. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Notes I came up with this recipe when, as a new bride, I had time to prepare something extra for dinner. These were the ingredients available without going to the market.
