Ingredients Peppers in as many colors as you can find, cut in pieces Tomatoes, cut in pieces Cucumbers, peeled and cut up Bermuda onion, sliced thin Oil Vinegar Sugar Salt Garlic powder
Instructions Combine the peppers in a bowl with the tomatoes, cucumbers and onion. Mix the other ingredients to make a vinaigrette dressing. The usual proportions are 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar. Taste and adjust the seasonings. Pour dressing over vegetable mix and stir well. Let sit at least a few hours.
Description
This can sit for a few days and should sit for at least a few hours.
Notes This can be made a day or two in advance. Stir occasionally so that the vegetables are well coated with the dressing. This often referred to also as Israeli salad. Keeps well in refrigerator.
