Glazed Cappuccino Bars


Ingredients 2 sticks softened butter 2 Scoops instant espresso powder 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 3 eggs 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 3 cups flour 3/4 Teaspoon ¾ tsp baking soda 3/4 Teaspoon ¾ tsp salt 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (preferably mini), (12 oz) For the glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar 1 T hot water, (1 to 2) ½ tsp vanilla


Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees .Prepare 9x13 pan with parchment, leaving an overhang so you can pull them out of the pan when cool. Coat the foil with cooking spray. 2. Beat the softened butter, both sugars and the espresso powder with a mixer on medium high speed until fluffy. 3. Add the eggs and vanilla. Reduce the speed to low 4. Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Beat until combined. 5. Stir in the chocolate chips. 6. Spread in prepared pan. 7. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, about 35 to 40minutes. Transfer to a racj and cook completely in the pan. 8. To make the glaze, whisk the confectioners sugar with hot water and the vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the cold bars.


Description The chocolate and coffee make a fantastic bar.
