Bran Bars

Ingredients 3 cups Raisin bran 1 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup margarine 3 eggs 1 1/3 cups sugar 2 tablespoons milk or orange juice 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup nuts, chopped 1/2 cup white raisins


Instructions 1. Mix first four ingredients. 2. Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and milk and vanilla. Add Raisin bran mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 350 for 30-35 minutes. 4. Cut in squares.


Notes I like to fool myself into thinking that this is really a healthy recipe. Healthy or not, it is delicious.
