Ingredients
4 cups fresh blueberries, washed 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 recipe pie crust for 2 crust pie
Instructions Combine ingredients and let "sit" while you prepare pie crust. Make slits in top crust. Bake at 425 for 40-50 minutes.
Notes This pie is just stewed blueberries between two crusts. There are no thickening agents. This was always known as "runny blueberry pie".
