Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter plus more for pan
10 ounces mini marshmallows
5 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup chopped dried pineapple
1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes
1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Instructions
Melt 3 tablespoons in large pot over medium heat. Add marshmallows and cook, stirring, until melted.
Remove from heat and stir in cereal and balance of ingredients. Stir to combine.
Press into pan and let stand until firm, about 1 hour.
Cut into squares.
Description
Lots of fun to make these in this combination or whatever you like.
Notes
These are fun and sort of a grown up Rice Krispie square. I suggest a nonstick pan. I found that rinsing my hands in cold water made the patting in to the pan easy.
